Illustration - More Dagon Concepts, pencil sketches

A couple more Dagon concepts. Still trying to figure out where to go with this project (Illustrating Lovecraft's Dagon short story) as I want to create an accurate rendering of the story while really letting loose with my own style. The man is the protagonist from the story, a sailor from back in the day. I want his beard to resemble the island and possibly the creatures. The monster is a more loose rendering of the creature from the story. I want it to be at the same time alien, hideous and almost human but still something that could live in the ocean.

Pollutopia Arc - Mantra 01 (PEBBLES), Acrylic on Canvas

While flicking through some of my wife's science books I discovered the outline of this image and felt compelled to fill in some of the circles with Pollutopian colors. I think it was a biology book and I forget what the diagram was actually of. Because I am still developing the color scheme for Pollutopia, it was nice to create a very simple painting with the main colors I have been using all together.

4th Annual SloshBall Event/Lauren's Birthday Invite - AI/PS

I've had my head down doing web stuff so really enjoyed a chance to do something creative even if it was just a little invite for Lauren's birthday/sloshball event. The pictures are from the 3rd annual sloshball event.

WereWolf Costume for Taylor's movie

My niece wrote a film script and asked me to draw up a WereWolf costume. I looked at Sam Flores for inspiration. I haven't read the script yet so I might be way off here but we'll figure it out.

Illustration - Dagon Concepts

These are some concepts for the H.G. Lovecraft short story Dagon that I'm illustrating. Lovecraft was pretty specific with his descriptions of the creatures in his stories so it is difficult trying to create exactly what he described while still creating something unique. I thought at first maybe I shouldn't actually show the creature and instead have just the protagonist's terrified expressions but it was too much fun to resist drawing these gnarly creatures.

The image at the very top is actually a reference to a series of dreams I had for a while where the ocean kept consuming me. I thought it was pretty fitting for the theme of this story.

Photography - Bunny, Fish Finger Jenga

Top: There are Cuddly Toys Watching Over US, 2011
Bottom: Fish Finger Jenga, 2011

I keep seeing stuffed toys above me. First in Minnesota then now here in SD with this Bunny sighting. What does it all mean? And why does the Bunny have a Duck's head?

Sometimes I like to play with my food. You can have a lot of fun with food. My Fish Finger Jenga sculpture crumbled in the oven,
